 United We Stand

At the sight of Old Glory

waving in the breeze,

with tears in my eyes

I fell to my knees.

For on September eleventh,

two thousand and one,

the most horrible, despicable,

act was done.

How dare someone defile

our hearts and our souls,

and take from our very grasp

the ones we love so.

Don't take our people

for this calls for war,

then you'll know the meaning

of what we stand for.

Our United States is strong

and for freedom we stand,

we won't be overcome

in our great land.

God please protect us,

help keep all steadfast,

as we stand here United,

United we'll last.
