There is just something so special about Family.  You don't even have to live near each other to feel the connection, because it is something much closer than that...

they live in you heart.

The poems in this section represent many things to me.  They range from heartfelt poems for my two children, Michael and Melissa and a very special poem I wrote for my very dear sister, Cora.   Another special one called "Our Family Recipe" was written for Cora and our two cousins, Mary and Cora Lee (who are more like sisters to us, so I will call them sisters.)  We met them for the first time last April... we have so much to be thankful for and to catch up on.  They are just wonderful. Now this year we met our other cousin, Herb and his wife Denice.  What a thrill that was, they are even more special than I imagined.  And another picture of everyone with Cora's and my Auntie Leara, our Mother's sister.  She is the greatest! 

Also I reflect on the friendships that are so important to me, especially with my very close friends, Sharon, Judy and Linda.  Lastly I wrote a very important patriotic poem and a poem about Vermont, because it is my favorite place in the whole world.
