Autumn leaves,
do you remember me...
I was once so bright,
so beautiful and free,
though the lines have replaced
all the softness on my face,
and the races that I ran
were long ago and at
a different pace.
Autumn leaves,
do you remember me...
in a gentle breeze I watched
you falling from the trees,
I would shuffle along
sending you flying
through the air, I guess
I really didn't have a care.
Autumn leaves,
do you remember me...
how I wish those days
could always be, but the
years went by much too
fast...my childhood is but
a memory of my past.
One day here I
will be laid to rest,
that fact is inevitable,
I guess.
When on my grave
you are falling from the tree,
Autumn leaves,
will You Remember Me...
